Leftovers 2



I finished it up on Thursday night. This was a fast knit. It's longer than I would like it to be, but it's nice. The pattern was super easy and well written. I have enough leftovers (hehe! that's fun to say, since it's the name) to make a scarf and maybe a hat. Warming up the needles for the one row scarf! I can't wait to see how the colors change on this!

Oh! Since most of my summer has been dedicated to redoing the backyard, here it is all finished!

A few of my dear friends, Kara, Kathy, Carrie,Mindy, and Shannon and hubby got together with my family for celebrating my birthday. We went to Brazie's literally right up the street from my house for dinner. None of us had been there before so we were not sure what the food was like. We were a little surprised at how fancy the place was. Of course we had to make fun of the hostess' tasteless outfit of way to short shorts and high heels. She did not fit the rest of the atmosphere at all. Of course we decided that she would if she had on longer shorts. Of course the poking fun continued when one of the bus boys just happened to go to school with both of my kids. He asked DS what he was doing and , son replied "not much of anything". Lawn Guy made some kind of noise and I thought I should crawl under the table as I looked around at my all to knowing friends and our own rolling of the eyes and giggling. Unfortunately, DS doesn't get life, but hey, he's moving out

Not Much for new

Hi everyone, I am making this short because I am trying to play catch up. First Mystery Stole - still on the 2nd week. I really love it truly I do. Second I have been rereading all the Harry P books to get ready for the last. Of course my husband has a way of trying to spoil it for me. I have my own thoughts but I keep them to myself. Anyway I am on page 60ish, so this has to be quick. I did go to the movie, but I felt they could have done a better job. Oh well if we could have our say, we would be sitting in the theater til' hell freezes over.
